This course is delivered according to the GWO Basic Technical Training standard.
The objective of this module is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to perform basic electrical tasks (supervised by an experienced technician), using safe working procedures and correct PPE.
This basic technical training module is aimed at those with no previous experience with electrical systems, but can also be attended to improve the skills and competencies of those who have some knowledge of such systems but not of their application in wind turbines.
Each participant will receive a handbook on CD, containing useful documents and readings to supplement the training received.
Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will have the Electrical module credited to their WINDA profile.
The Electrical module has unlimited validity.
