Supervisor Training Course – Additional Specific Training

Regulatory references

Art. 37, paragraph 7, of D.Lgs. 81/2008 and point 9 of the Accordo Stato Regioni of 21/12/2011 register of acts n. 221/CSR.

As indicated in the regulatory references cited above, supervisors, in addition to worker training, must receive adequate and specific training in relation to the duties they perform regarding occupational health and safety.

Course objectives

The objective of the course is to provide additional training elements to personnel who hold the role of supervisor.

Target audience

The course is aimed at Supervisors.

Course duration

The course has a duration of 8 hours.

Programme

• Main parties in the company prevention system: duties, obligations, responsibilities;
• Relations between the various internal and external parties of the prevention system;
• Definition and identification of risk factors;
• Incidents and near misses;
• Communication techniques and awareness-raising among workers, particularly new hires, temporary workers, and foreign workers;
• Company risk assessment, with particular reference to the context in which the supervisor operates;
• Identification of technical, organisational and procedural prevention and protection measures;
• Methods of exercising the supervisory function over workers’ compliance with legal and company provisions on occupational health and safety, and the use of collective and individual protective equipment made available to them.

Trainers

All our trainers are experts in occupational health and safety with many years of experience, holding the qualifications required by the Accordo Stato Regioni of 21 December 2011, register of acts n. 221/CSR and the criteria set out in the Interministerial Decree of 6 March 2013.

Training materials

Each participant will receive course materials on CD, containing useful documents for use and reading to complete the training received.

Final assessment and certifications

Following successful completion of the final test, each participant will be issued a certificate of attendance.
