The course is delivered according to the Italian Resuscitation Council (I.R.C.) guidelines with instructors certified by the I.R.C. itself.
The objective of the course is to update the skills already acquired by participants regarding the basic resuscitation sequence for adults in respiratory and/or cardiac arrest, through the use of a semi-automatic defibrillator.
The BLS-D Retraining course is aimed at all those who may find themselves, for personal or professional reasons, in the need to rescue a person suffering from cardio-respiratory arrest. It is particularly suitable for those who work daily in high population density environments (schools, companies, sports facilities, workshops, catering, shopping centres, etc.) and for those interested in learning and deepening their knowledge of basic resuscitation manoeuvres.
The course lasts 3 hours.
The instructors employed are doctors or appropriately trained non-healthcare personnel who, having completed the training pathway required by the IRC Basic Course regulations, have been certified by IRC as basic instructors for the lay population.
Each participant will receive the IRC manual in paper format, useful for completing the training achieved. The manual contains the unlock code for the certificate to be entered in the database – Personal Area – Courses. The code is unique and can only be used once.
Following the positive outcome of the final assessment, an attendance certificate will be issued for each participant.
