Training Course for Workers’ Safety Representative (RLS)

Art. 37, paragraphs 10, 11 of D.Lgs. 81/2008.

As indicated in the regulatory references cited above, the Workers’ Safety Representative is entitled to specific training on health and safety matters concerning the specific risks existing in the areas where they exercise their representation, ensuring adequate competencies on the main risk control and prevention techniques.

Course objectives

The objective of the course is to provide workers’ representatives with the training elements to achieve adequate knowledge of occupational risks existing in the workplace and adequate competencies on the main risk control and prevention techniques.

Target audience

The course is aimed at Workers’ Safety Representatives.

Course duration

The course has a duration of 32 hours.

Programme

1. EU and national legal principles;
2. general and specific legislation on occupational health and safety;
3. main parties involved and their obligations;
4. definition and identification of risk factors;
5. risk assessment;
6. identification of technical, organisational and procedural prevention and protection measures;
7. regulatory aspects of workers’ representation activities;
8. basic communication techniques.

Trainers

All our trainers are experts in occupational health and safety with many years of experience, holding the qualifications required by the State-Regions Agreement of 21 December 2011, official records no. 221/CSR, and meeting the criteria established by the Inter-Ministerial Decree of 6 March 2013.

Training materials

Each participant will receive a handbook on CD, containing useful documents and reading materials to complement the training received.

Final assessment and certification

Following successful completion of the final test, each participant will be issued a certificate of attendance.
