Worker Safety Course – Specific Training for High-Risk

Regulatory references

The Employer, pursuant to art. 37 paragraph 1 letter a) and the State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/2011 acts repertory no. 221/CSR, ensures that each worker receives sufficient and adequate training in health and safety matters.

This Agreement also provides that safety training for workers consists of a “general training” module, common to all risk sectors, and a “specific training” module, varying according to the ATECO sector to which the company belongs.

This training course meets the training requirements for the specific training module for companies classified in the high-risk sector.

Course objectives

The objective of the course is to provide workers with the necessary training in occupational health and safety on specific risks for companies in the high-risk sector.

Target audience

The training course is aimed at workers in companies classified as high-risk.

Course duration

The course has a duration of 12 hours.

Programme

The course includes a training path compliant with the State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/11, with particular focus on the following topics:

• Introduction and review of the basic course;
• Mechanical risks;
• General electrical risks;
• Machinery and equipment risks;
• Falls from height;
• Explosion;
• Chemical risks;
• Mists, oils, fumes, dusts;
• Labelling;
• Biological risks;
• Physical risks (noise, mechanical vibrations, artificial optical radiation, electromagnetic fields);
• Microclimate and lighting;
• Video display terminals;
• DPI and work organisation;
• Work environment;
• Work-related stress;
• Manual handling of loads;
• Goods handling;
• Signage;
• Safety procedures;
• Evacuation, fire and emergency procedures;
• Organisational procedures for first aid;
• Incidents and near misses;
• Other risks.

Trainers

All our trainers are experts in occupational health and safety with many years of experience, holding the qualifications required by the State-Regions Agreement of 21 December 2011, acts rep. no. 221/CSR and the criteria established by the Interministerial Decree of 6 March 2013.

Training materials

Each participant will receive a handout on CD, containing useful documents for use and reading to complete the training received.

Final assessment and certifications

Following successful completion of the final test, each participant will be issued a certificate of attendance.
