The course is delivered according to the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher standard.
The objective of the course is to provide participants, through theoretical and practical training, with an update of the knowledge required to manage an injury and perform safe and effective first aid inside a wind turbine.
The course is aimed at workers operating in the wind energy sector or related industries.
The course lasts 8 hours.
Each participant will receive course materials on CD, containing useful documents and readings to complement the training received.
Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will have the First Aid Refresher module credited to their WINDA profile.
The First Aid Refresher module has a validity period of 24 months. The course refresher must be completed before the end of this period.
