The course is delivered according to the GWO Basic Safety Training standard.
The objective of the course is to provide participants, through theoretical and practical training, with the basic knowledge and skills for the use of PPE required to perform work at height and carry out safe rescue operations inside a wind turbine.
The course is aimed at workers operating in the wind energy sector or related industries.
The course has a duration of 16 hours.
Each participant will receive course materials on CD, containing useful documents and reading materials to complement the training received.
Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will have the Working at Heights module credited to their WINDA profile.
The Working at Heights module has a validity period of 24 months. The refresher course must be completed before the end of this period.
